I am delighted to let you know that from the 4 July 2020 I am now able to make appointments for Canine Myotherapy treatments. In order to reopen safely I have had to implement some changes.
Advice on the changes to practice will be emailed to client’s prior to treatment along with a Client Risk Assessment to check for symptoms of Covid 19.
These are both published below, along with my Covid 19 Risk Assessment Infection Prevention & Control Policy, which covers both human and canine treatments. I am also happy to discuss with you any concerns you may have.
I will be prioritising those dogs who are most in need of treatment, such as those who are elderly or have chronic pain and mobility issues. Your patience and understanding in allowing time for me to respond to your enquires is therefore very much appreciated.
I’m incredibly fortunate to have such lovely clients, and continually grateful for your loyalty, support and understanding during what continues to be a difficult and uncertain time.
If you fall into a vulnerable risk category then I am still able to offer distance support, for details of this please see below.
Canine Distance Support – How this works?
I will ask you to complete a Consultation Form to provide me with information about your dogs health, environment and current health condition. I will need you to send me photos and videos of your dog as follows:
(1) Side view (right)
(2) Side view (left)
(3) View from above
(4) Video of your dog walking towards and away from the camera
Using the information you have provided I can provide a visual postural assessment of your dog, as well as looking at their daily habits and environment and give advice on how to implement changes to your dogs activities to support their recovery.
I will arrange an online call to discuss what I have seen and demonstrate how to effectively apply a couple of massage techniques for you to use for the next 4 weeks.
At the end of 4 weeks a follow up call will be scheduled to discuss your dog’s progress and any changes required going forward.
Please note: This is not a direct replacement for a Full Deep Tissue Remedial Massage with a qualified therapist, but hopefully can provide some respite for your dog until we can treat hands on.
A full assessment will only take place once payment has been received. Cost of distance support £59
Clarity Treatments accepts payment by cash, cheque or Bank Transfer.
