Sanctuary Farm

In the wonderful setting of Sanctuary Farm, Horam our winter crafting classes take place in our cosy wood cabin.  Take time out to relax and unwind whilst learning new skills and creating bespoke pieces.

Enjoy hot chocolate with mint bark or marshmallows, or mulled apple juice, florentines & mince pies, around the log burner.

Not arty/crafty ..think again, we will share tips and tricks to help you achieve fabulous results.

 

Christmas Wreath Making

Whether you’re a traditionalist or looking for something more contemporary create your own bespoke wreath at our festive barn workshop.

Using fresh and dried seasonal foliage, we will guide you through how to make your own beautiful wreath.

Christmas Tree Decorations

Spend a relaxing morning / afternoon in the cabin learning the basic skills of making and decorating wonderful clay Christmas decorations. They’ll look fab hanging on the Christmas tree, used as gift tags or an alternative to gift bows, or just to decorate your Christmas tree!

No experience required – Please bring a small box to carry your creations home.

Winter Solstice – Seeing in the Light

Join us at this special time of year when we celebrate the return of longer days after the year’s shortest night, symbolising hope, rebirth, and renewal. The light also represents the positive aspects within ourselves and our communities. It encourages reflection on gratitude for personal growth, relationships, and blessings, even during the darkest times. The solstice encourages an appreciation for nature’s rhythms and the interconnectedness of life.

To honour and embrace this returning light we will make paper lanterns from wicker, culminating in a walk round the farm and s special ceremony.
